After 15 years with Sony Music Studios in New York, and a successful
independent business (RK Recording LLC), Multi-Grammy winning recording
engineer Richard King has accepted a position at McGill University, in the
Sound Recording Area of the Music Research Department, Schulich School
of Music. His work with Sony Masterworks continues on a freelance basis, as
well as projects with Decca, EMI, Nonesuch, various film companies, as well
as independent labels and clients. Richard is also a frequent AES panelist,
and he workshops with various University level recording programs on a
regular basis.
